 This giant bright yellow resort sits on the boardwalk in North Wildwood. It is much bigger and "hotel like" then many other of the Doo Wop motels. It features an indoor water park, a restaurant, and indoor corridors for acessing rooms.

An architectural expression of the creavitiy, exuberance and optimism of the nation at the dawn of the Space Age, the Satellite was arguably Will Morey's masterpiece, and one of the Wildwoods' signature "Doo Wop" landmarks. Despite a valiant effort to save it, the motel was closed and demolished after the 2004 season, setting off a wave of redevelopment (particularly in the Crest) that winter.

Historic Register: The Satellite was located in the Crest Historical District.

The Eden Roc features one of the few original kidney-shaped pools left in Wildwood. The motel was named after the famous hotel of the same name in Miami Beach, Florida.

 Amid a cluster of older, smaller buildings in North Wildwood's upper motel district, the Acropolis and nearby Regency Towers dominate the beachfront skyline. The sentinel nature of the 1970s-era Acropolis calls to mind the ancient structure for which it was named, which for thousands of years has loomed high above the city of Athens, Greece.
