mrchazz:"A Place for the one of the most succluent Seafood Dinners in the Wildwoods, The Boathouse is one of the most appetizing places in the Wildwoods to splurge for a meal during your stay on the "Five Mile Island". Fom Lobster to Steaks, this Restaurant provides a great dining experience.
From the appetizers to the main meal, you are tempted to eat the "Whole Thing" from appetrizer to dessert and ensured a great meal from beginning to end. I highly recommend the Crab Imperial, with it's huge chunks of succulent lump crabmeat to delicious desserts, I can eat and enjoy the whole dining experience.
The Group that owns and Manages "The Boathouse, Uries, and Neil's "Steak & Chowder House" provides the best Seafood possible for the discerning palate in the Wildwoods.
The Boathouse features Early Bird Full Course Dinners from 4 to 5 PM. Other amenities include a waterfront Martini Bar, Game Room, a casual dockside marina deck and a well stocked Raw Bar with everything from oysters to jumbo shrimp."
Easily spotted from the road, Schellenger's Restaurant is most remembered for all the crazy nautical decorations on the roof. The roof decorations originally started as a way to cover up the Air conditioning units. Now, Schellenger's is trying to set a world record for the most stuff on a roof. They continue to add to it each year.
