Carriage Stop Motel
400 E. St. Paul Ave.
Wildwood Crest, NJ 08260

(800) 247-6602 / (609) 522-6400

"Doo Wop" meets the American Colonial era in the Crest at the Carriage Stop, the Wildwoods' preeminent example of what the DWPL classfies as the "Phoney Colonee" design style. Only the nearby Saratoga Inncan rival the Carriage Stop's authenticity, highlighted by the consistent elements of brick detailing, white horizontal wooden fencing and lantern lights around the premises. The motel's large and vibrant rooftop neon sign puts the exclamation point on this clash of ages, a true island original.
