 The island's motel boom hit the area of the Crest where the Yankee Clipper now stands in a big way during the mid-1960s. The Yankee Clipper's present-day neighbors, the Cape Cod and Fleur-de-Lis, debuted in 1966 as well.Admin test

Remembered fondly for its zany methods of advertising and presentation, Zorro's Pizzeria was one of the more unique entities to pop up in the Wildwoods during the 1970s. It was also another in a long line of businesses on the island that took its theme from a contemporary pop culture source. Zorro's is long gone, though the building it operated out of remains standing (albeit boarded up and neglected) on Pacific Ave. in Wildwood proper.
