Why fix something like that … ?
According to a Press of AC article, the Oceanview Beachfront Motel is to be demolished in the future in preference to something “completely new”.
Why fix something like that when you can redo it and make it nicer?

Well, how can we believe he could build something better? Look at the Bolero some time, it has no character. What is unique about Wildwood is what draws tourists. Building bland boxes that look like a hotel that could be located anywhere in America, is not why folks come to Wildwood. They also don’t come for size the of the rooms, and why can’t Wally renovate the rooms instead of tearing Ocean View down? How about duplex rooms, wouldn’t require more parking spaces!
