Though it has always resembled more of a traditional bungalow or ranch-style home, the one-story Eileen was the first lodging entity in the Crest to be referred to as a motel. Built in 1953, this seemingly-unremarkable structure served as a forerunner to the many ‘Doo Wop’ institutions that would soon begin to follow. The Eileen has stood the test of time, and remains in operation to this day.
